ages 7-9 Dance classes
Dancing can create new friendships, build self-confidence, increase positive self image and boost moods. This is a great way to explore your child’s passion for music and movement. Do they enjoy graceful twirls and pointed toes? Are they always grooving to upbeat radio music? Come explore a dance class!
Each dance class will focus on the basic elements of dance and movement that are taught in a positive and encouraging way. We will use props to engage and teach fundamentals creatively and learn many short dances each session. Dancers will be introduced to the dance styles of ballet, lyrical, musical theatre, jazz and hip-hop.
Dancers are encouraged to wear their choice of flexible athletic wear, a bodysuit and tights, dance style shoes depending on the style of dance. Parents or guardians are invited to observe the class in our Lobby through our closed circuit cameras on TV.

SUMMER SESSION - JULY 9, 16, 23, 30
We are offering Ages 7-9 Creative Movement classes in a 4 week session running the weeks of July 9, 16, 23, 30. Tuition is billed monthly and is due at the start of the month. Perfect for beginner dancers or those who can’t stop moving to the music!
Semester commitment (monthly)
We are offering Ages 7-9 classes in 2 semesters, from September to December, and January to May. Register for 1 semester, committing to 4 weeks each month of that semester (Sept to Dec, or Jan to May). Tuition is billed monthly and is due at the start of every month.
Weekly classes resume September 11 2023. Registration now open, and is open for dancers to join at any start of the month from September to May.
- When you sign up more than one youth dancer in a family, each additional child’s fee is 15% off
- Enroll a young dancer in multiple classes to receive 10% off each additional class
- Multi-student and multi-class discounts add up! This means that enrolling two children in two classes each saves you $25 every month!
Drop-in Classes
We are offering multiple Ages 7-9 drop-in classes for the months of June, July and August 2023. These classes are designed for beginner dancers to explore a formal dance class before the families commit to a longer session commitment. Register for one class at a time that fits your family schedule best. Each individual class is $15, tax included.
"themed" Classes
Dance classes that follow a “Theme” for the class! Attend a 4 week session of dance classes that revolve around your favourite musical, movie or characters. Experience dance styles such as ballet, musical theatre, lyrical, jazz and hip-hop using your favourite movie, tv show, musical, or character as your inspiration!
Weekly classes resume September 2024. Registration opens soon.
Performance opportunities
The studio creates a digital dance experience for our Holiday Showcase filmed in December. This is a dance show that is filmed in costumes and edited, shared as a link for you to download to your desktop.
In June, we have a live in-person recital to close the season. Ages 7-9 dancers have the opportunity to wear a costume and perform live on stage in front of an audience. This live performance is strongly encouraged to participate in.
